David V. Appy

A former chemistry teacher, Mr. Appy obtained his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from UCLA.  He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law, where he met Cary Tope-McKay and was brought into the firm.

Though Mr. Appy’s expertise initially lay in the field of chemistry, his experiences at Tope-McKay have expanded his repertoire to include work in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, computer sciences, bioengineering, optics and imaging systems, and nanotechnology.  He will further enhance his technical background by pursuing a PhD in chemistry beginning in 2010.  Mr. Appy is the best bowler at the firm.
